Special thanks goes to the 3rd Annual Ocean-Reef-Beach Festival for allowing two local non profits the Anglers for Conservation and the Sebastian Inlet Chapter Surfrider Foundation to be the beneficiaries of the great event.

Held on December 6, the AFC had a booth promoting ethical angling while also conducting the 2nd annual Slow Down, Chow Down Chowder Cook-off. Four local restaurants competed to win the People’s Choice Award.

Thank you to Black’s Fish House Grill, Islands Fish Grill, Longdoggers and Shells of Melbourne (winner) for coming out and cooking up some of the best chowder this area has to offer. A big thank you to Harry Goode’s Outdoor Shop and TD Bank of Indialantic for sponsoring such a unique and tasty event.

WE thank the City of Satellite Beach, the vendors and exhibitors, and ORB committee who took part with the planning and celebration of the ocean lifestyle.
