In partnership with the Brevard County Natural Resources Management and Parks & Recreation, is coordinating its engaging Hook Kids on Fishing Program to be held on Saturday, May 20th, 2017 from 9-11am during WATERFEST at Kiwanis Island Park, 951 Kiwanis Island Park Road, Merritt Island, FL 32953. This hands-on, conservation-minded program teaches casting, knot tying, tackle box essentials, catch and release tactics, fishing habitats, conservation and safety lessons and is taught by professional guides and knowledgeable anglers.

The first 80 registered children from ages 6-16 will take home a free rod and reel, but must be accompanied by an adult.  Sponsor support provided by Fish Florida Foundation, Aylesworth’s Fish & Bait, Daiichi Hooks and local volunteers.
