Hook Kids On Fishing-Palm Bay

In partnership with the City of Palm Bay Rec Department, Anglers for Conservation (AFC) is coordinating AFC’’s Hook Kids on Fishing program on Saturday, March 31st from 9-11am. The FREE Hook Kids on Fishing program will take place at:
Captains House
1300 Bianca Dr. NE
Palm Bay, Fl
Kids ages 6 to 16, are welcome along with their parents. The first 80 kids registered may receive a free rod and reel. Registration is mandatory by visiting the Tony Roma Community Center(old Palm Bay Community Center) at 1502 Port Malabar Blvd and fill out a waiver; e-mail Al Majoy at majoya@pbfl.org or call Tony Rosa Community Center at 321-952-3443.
These conservation-minded Hook Kids on Fishing programs… teach casting, fishing safety, knot tying, the tackle box, catch and release tactics, fishing habitat and conservation; and are taught by professional guides and knowledgeable anglers. Parents and kids bring your smiles, positive attitudes and patience along with you!
Parent or guardian must accompany attendees.
Additional community sponsors include the Anglers for Conservation, Fish Florida Foundation, Coastal Angler Magazine and Aylesworth’s Fish & Bait.
The Hook Kids on Fishing program is a product of the Anglers for Conservation, a non-profit-501-C3, whose mission is to inspire new generations of marine stewards through education, conservation, and community outreach.
