In partnership with the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge and Nature Center, Anglers for Conservation (AFC) is coordinating AFC’s Hook Kids On Fishing program on Saturday, April 27th, 2019 from 9am-11am. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get signed in. Event starts on time. This Hook Kids on Fishing program will take place at:

This event is FREE thanks to the Hobe Sound Nature Center.

Kids ages 6 to 16 are welcome and parent/guardian must accompany attendees and a waiver must be completed in order to attend. A waiver can be found while registering and does not need to be printed. The first 60 kids registered will receive a free rod/reel and tackle box thanks to Fish Florida.

The conservation-minded Hook Kids On Fishing programs teach casting, fishing safety, knot tying, tackle box, catch and release tactics, boating, fishing habitat and conservation; and are taught by professional guides and knowledgeable anglers. Parents and kids bring your smiles, positive attitudes and patience along with you!

The Hook Kids on Fishing program is a product of the Anglers for Conservation, a non-profit-501c3, whose mission is to inspire new generations of marine stewards through education, conservation, and fishing.
