Anglers for Conservation is a 501 c(3) non-profit whose mission is to inspire new generations of marine stewards through education, conservation, and fishing.

Hook Kids on Fishing (HKOF) is for kids between ages 5-15 and taught by professional guides, knowledgeable anglers, experienced boaters and/or scientists. This hands-on, conservation-minded and educational fishing program teaches children casting, knot tying, fishing safety, catch and release, fish habitats, conservation and more!

We are excited to join our partners in conservation, the Marine Discovery Center with over 25 years informing and educating citizens and guests about the amazing biodiversity of the Indian River Lagoon. We will be learning about their Living Shoreline Demonstration Area, which was completed in the marsh in November 2014, with volunteers and staff once again planting native species along the shoreline. This expansion of MDC was tagged and grant-funded as the Mosquito Lagoon Marine Enhancement Center, established as an educational destination for local residents and visitors of all ages.

NOTE: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Eventbrite tickets are for participating kids between ages 5-15. Adults do not require a ticket.
