The June and July sessions of Advanced Teen Anglers Camp is now past. What a great summer it was with a total of 22 anglers that completed the weekend long camps. There is never a shortage of laughter and learning during ATAC. Four girls stood out from all the boys to prove that, well, they’re not just “girls”. Volunteers did an excellent job keeping the teens busy while Long Doggers and Da Kine Diego’s kept them fed. Shirts were provided by JJ’s Screen Printing and Mike E. worked his magic with the new illustrated “Chum” comic book sponsored by Indialantic Seafood. Thanks to Fish Florida, every angler walked away with a new rod/reel and tackle box along with a goodie bag loaded with fishing gear provided by sponsors. Both camps met one more time at Ballard Park to fish and said goodbye to the 2015 summer.
Thanks and we’ll see you next summer.
