In partnership with Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge and Nature Center, the Anglers for Conservation is coordinating its engaging Hook Kids on Fishing Program to be held on Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 from 9-11am at the Hobe Sound Nature Center, 13640 SE Federal Hwy, Hobe Sound, FL 33455.

This hands-on, conservation-minded program teaches casting, fishing safety, knot tying, tackle box essentials, catch and release tactics, fishing habitats and conservation, and is taught by professional guides and knowledgeable anglers.

The first 80 registered children from ages 6-16 will take home a free rod and reel, but must be accompanied by an adult.  Sponsor support provided by Fish Florida Foundation, Aylesworth’s Fish & Bait, Daiichi Hooks and local volunteers.
